Red clover (Trifolium Pratence) is a perennial herb 20–80 cm tall that commonly grows wild in meadows throughout Europe and Asia, and has now been naturalized to grow in North America. The red flowers at the end of the branched stems are usually dried. The fruit is an ovoid, single-seeded bean. Seeds can be round, or angular, or yellowish-red, or purple.
